How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

So, it's been a while! I used to post journal updates a lot more frequently, but these days it is more difficult. My schedule is chaotic and I'm lucky if I can steal the time to do more than respond to comments, go through my inbox and set up my features. Regardless, I'm here now so I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to comment on a few things!

First of all, for those of you who haven't noticed, I got ticked. I was extremely happy to log in and find that tiny little mark next to my username. It means a lot to become a Senior, and I honestly didn't think I ever would. I'm not sure what it says about me, or about my contributions to deviantART, but if nothing else, I know that it inspires me to keep doing all that I can do.

Secondly, a big thank you to =DailyLitDeviations and =TwilightPoetess for featuring my newest poem, "Forward." I always appreciate when someone thinks highly enough of my work to feature it, especially when it is the first thing I've written in a long while! I'm hoping to get more of my work up in the coming weeks. My brain has been burning through words lately and I can feel poetry bursting inside so I'm going to have to set it free soon.

Lastly, I wanted to give a thank you to all of you who have supported me over the years. Your comments, features, favorites, notes and everything else have always been a bright spot for me. When things are going bad, someone always seems to find a way to lift the weight for me. You guys are amazing and I'm grateful to have your support. I've discovered a lot of amazing writers on here, and I've made a lot of friends in the... five years I've been here. My five year anniversary was back in December. It doesn't seem like that long, but time sure does fly!

I hope you're all doing well and I look forward to trying to keep in better touch with you. Hopefully the chaos will settle down a little.
